1931 Chevrolet Coupe
The year is 1951 and this car was my first vehicle. My father and I found it on Logan Ave in Winnipeg Man. I bought it for .00 This chevy needed a complete overhaul to the motor and a paint job. My father performed both tasks and enjoyed every minute of it. He hand painted the car a cream color with black fenders. I got my drivers licence with this car.

1938 Ford Sedan
In 1952 I purchased this 1938 Ford when I worked for the CPR railway. This car was a bigtime oil burner as it consumed a quart of oil every day. It also was the biggest rattle trap I ever owned. I believe I kept it about 9 months and traded it in.
1941 Nash 600 Sedan
I traded the Ford on this 1941 Nash. This was a good car with few minor problems. I found my first steady girlfriend while I owned this car. I owned this at least two years.
1941 Ford Coupe
I owned this 1941 Ford in 1954 for about one year. This car had a very good motor and one could not hear it running. I used to lift the hood to see if the fan was turning. It had knee action shocks which I replaced with the new Hydraulic shocks.
1949 Studebaker Starlite Coupe
This car was very modern for a 1949. This car performed well and I drove it in the winter of 1955 and then sold it to my father in 1956. My father overhauled the motor and drove this car for the next five years.
1951 Meteor Sedan
I was working in the construction trade when I bought this car for .00 from one of my fellow workers. This car performed quite well. I had it custom painted. I Had this car when I got married in 1956 and used it on our honeymoon to Duluth MN.
1951 Austin Sedan
Being freshly married with a son we decided a small car would use less gas when going to work. We traded in the Meteor for this 1951 Austin. We made a 1500 mile trip to my wifes hometown Cloiceland Sask with this car. The only problem was that you could not drive any faster than 40 miles per hour if you wanted the car to get there and back.
1949 Kaiser Sedan
Starting with this car I had so many that I will only display the car and wiil tell a story when need be
1936 Ford Coupe
I bought this off a friend at work for .00 It was a good running car but had no heater for the winter. I sold it to a kid down the street for .00.
1954 Ford Mainline Sedan
This car was a taxi but it was good running except the transmission. I must have replaced the tranny at least 5 times. On one of our trips the third gear kept jumping out so we had a garage weld it in. Had to trade it in
1953 Mercury
This car was all maroon but my wife And I bought some spray paint in cans and painted the grey on the car.
1954 Monarch Sedan
This car had every power option available at the time. First Ford V8 with overhead valves. We kept it for about 6 months.
1955 Ford Fairlane
1958 Borgward
This was a German car with 4 cylinder engine. This car was ahead of its time. I sold it to my brother-in-law and he drove it for several years.
