1971 Chevrolet 1 ton Van
This was our first motorhome, We repaired and painted the body on the outside, We installed beds and a eating area on the inside.We converted into a camper. That summer we took a trip to Vancouver Island. Returning home we lost our transmission and I rented a car and drove to Calgary for a rebuilt. My son & I installed it in Banff Campground. We also blew a oil ring on one of cylinders but continued home by adding lots of oil. For all the repairs Etc it was a good month long trip and enjoyable. |
